The Exhibit

There are few places that are quieter than a museum after Christmas. No excited children, no overseas tour parties, hardly a sign of a watchful curator.

Left to their own devices, the exhibits take on a mysterious, melancholy quality. It’s easy to believe that while no-one is looking, they slip into different states and take on new powers.
