Nature in the City

The Song of the Pylon

Song of the Pylon

The Song of the Pylon

The pylons sang their song. They sang it for the trees, the sky and the people. But most of all, they sang it for themselves. Their hymn to their beauty.

We write our shapes into the sky

At perfect angles that rise forever

With such lines of grace

We will not fall

Our dreams are power

We are in harmony and symmetry

We are line and structure and information

We are secure. We are protected.

We are abstraction itself

Life dances at our very feet.

This is all known to us

For we are the future.

We are the future
